Warranty terms
If the product proves to be defective within the warranty period, we will repair it free of charge at the Elektro-Optika Ltd. service center. The warranty service is free of charge, however, the original invoice with the warranty certificate, containing the fabrication number, must be presented, so that the vendor is in possession of all the necessary information. Elektro-Optika Ltd. reserves the right to refuse warranty repairs if all information about the product is not available or if the fabrication data sheet has been removed.
Attention! Microscopes and their accessories are precision instruments and require expert use!
1. Warranty enforcement
The warranty service can be enforced at the premises of Elektro-Optika Ltd. (22 Kaktusz Street, Érd 2030, Hungary) during the warranty period. The customer is responsible for transporting the product to and from the service center and for all the costs associated with transporting the product to and from the service center. We will only accept products for warranty service if they are complete with all accessories (e.g., cables, CDs, custom accessories) and undamaged.
2. The warranty does not cover:
Wear parts, light bulbs, fuses, and batteries, even with periodic inspection, maintenance, and normal operation.
3. Products lose their warranty (reasons for warranty exclusion):
- The product's unique identification code/warranty sticker is damaged/lost or defaced.
- Faults caused by modifications made without the approval of Elektro-Optika Ltd.
- Damage caused by impact or other mechanical damage, or damage caused by heat or water.
- Improper use (use of the product at a performance level exceeding the factory settings (overloading), mechanical/electrical load exceeding the parameters specified in the product description, or other use not in accordance with the intended purpose).
- Improper storage, transport, or damage caused by natural forces. External impact during operation (improper storage or workplace conditions include: excessive heat (above 40°C), high humidity (<60%), dust, spaces saturated with acid vapors, strong resonance, strong magnetic fields, high-voltage spaces).
- Repairs carried out by the buyer or a third party, opening of the device housing, removal of the protective cover.
- Repair, modification, or improper cleaning carried out by another service center without the knowledge of Elektro-Optika Ltd.
- Use of accessories that are not compatible with the device.
- Connection of external devices that are not suitable for the product.
- Improper packaging of the product when returning it.
