Euromex RD digital refractomteres
Digital refractometers is a modern and quick method to measure refraction indices. An high resolution optical sensor measure the total light reflection on the sample, light that is produced by a LED source. The refractometer determine the refraction indice and calculate the concentration. Delivered with ATC.
Sugar concentration
Concentrations of sugar in marmalades, fruits, honey, syrups, wine and monitoring of oil emulsions
RD.6735 – Digital refractometer for measuring sugar content (Brix, Oechsle, °KMW, %) in products such as jams, fruit juices, honey, syrups, wine, and oil emulsions.
RD.6645 – Used for measuring sugar content in Brix and refractive index (R.I.), typically for food industry samples like fruit juices and syrups.
RD.6666 – Designed for sugar concentration and refractive index measurements with a wider Brix range, suitable for food processing and concentration control.
RD.6667 – A model with a specialized (higher) Brix range for measuring sugar concentration and refractive index, ideal for high-sugar products such as wine and sweet syrups
Sugar and salt
Substance indentification of sugar and salt concentration
RD.6728 – a handheld digital refractometer used for measuring concentrations of sugar and salt in solutions. It determines the refractive index (R.I.), Brix value (sugar concentration), and % NaCl (salt content) in liquids, making it suitable for testing sugar/salt solutions and mixtures where both types of concentration are relevant.
Battery acid and Coolant
For testing water-soluble coolants and battery acid solutions
RD.6730 – A handheld digital refractometer designed for measuring battery acid and coolant solutions. It determines the liquid’s specific gravity (sg) via refractive index and calculates the freezing point temperature for ethylene glycol (G13), propylene glycol (G11/12), and other water-based coolants. It is also suitable for quickly checking battery acid concentration in automotive and maintenance applications.
Clinical applications
For measuring clinical applications as Serum Protein (g/dl), Specific Gravity of Urine (sg) and Refractive Index
RD.6712 – Handheld digital refractometer for clinical applications: measures serum protein concentration (0 – 12 g/dL), urine specific gravity (1.00 – 1.05 sg), and refractive index (1.33 – 1.39 R.I.), making it suitable for quick clinical fluid analysis.
RD.6714 – Similar to the RD.6712 but with extended range for serum proteins (0 – 14 g/dL) including dog and cat serum, also measures urine specific gravity (1.00 – 1.06 sg) and refractive index (1.33 – 1.39 R.I.), tailored for clinical veterinary and laboratory applications
